live along the highways
often see them walking
with their mobile home.
Bags of things
across his shoulders
dog stays by his side
sheltering under a broad flyover
traffic feasts their eyes.
One man and his pariah dog
sit and watch us driving,
often we are talking
on our mobile phones.
Bags of stories
fill our mouths
handset by the side,
whizzing across a broad flyover
the beast we are riding thrives.
