a book of poems by Charlene Rajendran
Mangosteen Crumble (1999, Team East) is a book of Malaysian poetry by Charlene Rajendran. All the poems from the book will be posted here, at a rate of one per day (at noon), from April 1 until May 8. Why May 8? Because the very next day (May 9, if you were paying attention) will witness the KL launch of Charlene's Taxi Tales on a Crooked Bridge (2009, Matahari Books), a non-fiction book based on her conversations with the taxi-drivers of Singapore, where she now lives and works.
